There are a number of systems that are already in place that you should be aware of and try to use as much as you can so that they can improve:
a) If you are vegan or veggie or have any other dietary requirements and know you want to eat at the café or buttery, send an email to email@example.com telling them about your requirements and they will make sure they've made something for when you come in. This can be done whenever, just make sure you give them enough time to prepare something.
b) The kitchen have recently started introducing new vegan options to the café (such as the vegan sausage breakfast bap) and in order for this to work people NEED TO BUY THEM! If they make them and no one eats them they will just be composted and they will have no incentive to continue. Also, Monday evenings are meat-free, so come to the buttery and choose the vegetarian/vegan options to show your support for this!
c) The catering team are really receptive to comments, so if you have any vegan/veggie recipes that you'd like to see in the cafe or buttery then absolutely send them over.
d) The catering team have asked that people fill out this survey so that they know how many people need meat/fish/dairy free options. Currently 38% of the food is vegetarian and 17% is vegan. These numbers can change but they need the demand or they will just be wasting food!
