Allotments!

22/4/2015

For all those interested in the new college allotments! The gardeners have prepared a plot behind Wilson court for college members to grow food and flowers. Anyone with an interest in this is invited to a meeting at 4:30pm this Friday (24 April) at the site, where we will discuss plans for setting up a committee to oversee the maintenance of the plot.

Hi,
I'd love to be involved with the allotments, i.e. to have one to tend. I'm a long-term visiting graduate student living in Fitz and former Fitz undergrad. Can I still get involved or is this only for current undergrads? Thanks!

Hey,

Yes of course you can! If you email Tim Huges he will tell you everything. Basically we have had one meeting where people put their names forward to be in the committee which will just been involved in overseeing everyone. Those plans have been sent to the JMA for approval and hopefully next week we will be able to start planting.

Hope that helps!
