Our college community welcomes students, fellows and staff of all faiths and none. Support for you and your own faith tradition can be provided while you are a member of FItz.
The Chaplain is available to everyone, to offer confidential pastoral support and a neutral and listening ear, as well as discussing any matters of faith. She can refer or support you in finding your own way to make links with others of a similar faith tradition in the University or Cambridge itself.
The Chapel is a beautiful space at the centre of the College. While the worship held is of an Ecumenical Christian tradition, the chapel is also available to students of other faiths who wish to use it for meeting or prayer.
All members of college are welcome to attend any of the services in Chapel, but the Chaplain would be interested to hear from anyone who would like to meet together with those of their own faith, and develop activities of a multi-faith variety.
The Chapel at Fitz is very unlike most others you might find at Cambridge. It's not old, it's not grand. But it feels like home.
Its enormous windows open out onto the Grove, and the organ and choir fill the room with their voices on a Sunday evening for the weekly termtime chapel service. It acts as prayer or quiet space for people of all faiths or none, and it's open all the time.
You can find the Chapel right at the heart of College (see map to right).
